Friendly Inspiration: Kathryn

Today's Friendly Inspiration is a bright, simple garden wedding. If you missed the inspiration behind this wedding, check out the introduction here.
Kathryn's Friendly Inspiration:
The Colour Palette: The main colours will be shades of bright orange and yellow, accented with bright blue, pink, and green.

The Invitations: Bright sunflower invitations will be the first look into the theme of this wedding.

The Venue: Pine Rose Cabins

The Ceremony Space: The ceremony space is full of natural details, including a wooden gazebo and cascading trees.

The Reception Space: There are so many wonderful spaces for different parts of the reception.

The Dinner Space: The dinner space overlooks part of Lake Arrowhead. The expansive deck offers lots of space for the guests to enjoy their meal.

The Dancing Space: Next to the dinner space is the perfect place to dance the night away, complete with views of the woods and twinkly lights.

The Cake Space: The venue offers the perfect little gazebo to showcase the wedding cake.

The Venue Details: There are so many details that make this venue beautiful. From the wooden bridges to water and forest views, everything about this location is perfect.

The Bride:

The Dress: This Stephanie James tea-length lace gown is beautiful and easy to dance in!

The Hair: A half-up, half-down with loose waves will be accompanied by a simple veil with a pearl flower comb.

The Accessories: To incorporate the bride's wishes to have sunflowers and daisies at her wedding, she will hold a bouquet that fuses both! Along with the bouquet, she will wear yellow heels (that the bridesmaids will also wear) and simple crystal earrings and a pearl and crystal bracelet.

The Bridesmaids: To allow the yellow daisy bouquets to stand out, the bridesmaids will wear navy ballet-inspired dresses. To match the yellow heels, the bridesmaids will also wear light yellow earrings.

The Groom and Groomsmen: The groomsmen will wear navy pants to match the bridesmaids, along with a white dress shirt, suspenders, and yellow bow ties. The groomsmen will wear navy suspenders and the groom will wear yellow so that he stands out. The men will also have sunflower boutonnieres.

The Decorations:

The Ceremony: The ceremony space is so gorgeous that I wanted to keep the decorations simple. To backset the nuptials, hanging flowers in bright yellow and orange (and a few in pink) will be the sole ceremonial decorations.

The Reception: The reception decor is going to be simple, bright, and fun. The tables with have white tablecloths and white lace overlays. The place settings will have yellow plates stacked with white, along with an orange napkin. A sunflower menu (that matches the invitations) will sit atop the napkin, along with an orange daisy. The centrepieces will consist of two things: bright vases in blue, orange, yellow, and pink and vases filled with orange and lemon slices. Both sets of vases will be filled with flowers.

The Cake: The cake will simply be white with bright sugar flowers. It will sit atop a milk glass cake stand on a table dressed in the same tablecloth and lace overlay as the reception tables.

The Favours: The bride really liked the idea of seeds as wedding favours and so did I! The favour display will feature flower pots in blue, orange, yellow, and pink, which will be filled with the seeds.

The Drinks: Signature cocktails add some fun to the reception. There will be drinks in all of the wedding colours, like yellow pineapple sparklers and blue Thai mojitos.

Come back next week to see a DIY wedding celebration!
