Hello everyone! My name is Ainsley and welcome to The Light That Carries Me.
For a couple of years now, I've been toying with the idea of sharing my struggles with chronic illnesses and how my faith in God changed throughout the years because of them.
For the past couple of weeks, I feel like God has finally shown me how he wants me to tell my story.
The Light That Carries Me will be a place where I share my trials, but will also be a way for me to grow closer to God. You can expect to see my thoughts on books I'm reading, Bible verses that speak to me, church and Bible study updates, and past prayers that are pieces to my story.
Over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be sharing my testimony and story to give you a background on my faith and journey. It will hopefully help you see how God has transformed my life, one trial or praise at a time.
I cannot wait to see where this blog takes me and I look forward to sharing the journey with you!
