Happy Monday everyone! I've seen a couple other bloggers do their roundup of the best 2020 products and I decided to join in. Throughout last year, there were 20 items that I consistently used, including my favorite jeans, blanket, and workout app. Below is my complete list of all the 2020 products I'll be bringing with me into 2021.

On Monday, I gave you a tour of my apartment, and today, I'm helping you shop it! I spent a lot of time figuring out just how I wanted my apartment to feel. I've always been drawn to crisp homes, so knew I wanted to create that atmosphere, but in a home-y way. I chose to carry different shades of blue (navy, light, turquoise), pops of white, and hints of gold and pink throughout the different rooms. The blues and white offered the cool crisp feel I loved, while the pink helped infuse some warmth. About half of my decor came from scouring different HomeGoods, while the rest was found online. I wanted some pieces that were functional, and others that were visually appealing. It took a while to find all the items to finish off my home, but I'm so glad I took my time because I absolutely love how it turned out.

I have officially lived in my apartment for a full year, and in six days, I'll be leaving it. This was my first solo apartment in Chicago after living with friends in Bucktown, so it was a big deal. Not only was I going to live alone for the first time, but I was moving to South Loop to be closer to downtown. I brought a few items from my old apartment, but more or less started from scratch when I moved. I've always been drawn to blues, so decided that it would be the cornerstone of my decor, flowing throughout the apartment.

I'm currently in Charleston visiting my sister and brother-in-law, which means I'm surrounded by color. From Rainbow Row to swim trunks - blues, pinks, and yellows are everywhere. Pink is one of my favorites, especially the houses and flowers that helped inspire today's post.

One of my favorite things about spring is all the flowers that begin to bloom. I live across from Grant Park and I can't wait to walk through it, experiencing all the colorful blooms. Since I can't always be outdoors surrounded by the beauty, I love bringing florals indoors through my wardrobe and decor. They add just the right amount of pattern, while also adding springtime colors. Even though it snowed in Chicago this week, I still consider everything prior to Thanksgiving fall. It's my favorite season, so I refuse to let it be cut short by snow. Once Thanksgiving is over, then I'll concede and accept that winter has arrived. ;)

Spring is just around the corner (5 days - but whose counting?)! To me, green just screams spring. Everything is starting to bloom, creating beautiful colors in nature. As I start to prep for this new season, I can't help but want to make a couple changes throughout my home, starting with this color. Home decor is quickly becoming a passion of mine. I love being able to transform a space into something homey, personable, and stylish. One of the easiest ways to do this is to add decorative throw pillows to a space. Creating definition with different sizes, colors, and patterns is a great way to  update your room. When looking for inspiration for my bedroom, I started scouring Pinterest. One trend that continually caught my eye was the use of patterned pillows. This year, I've decided to get into candles. My family is obsessed with them, but for some reason, I've never jumped on the candle-loving train. That's going to change this year! I absolutely love the holidays! It's my favorite time of the year because of all the decor and time spent with my family. Over the years, our family tree has become one of my favorite things. In my new bedroom, I chose to go outside of my comfort zone and purchase a show-stopping comforter.  I found this Lauren Conrad floral bedspread and fell in love. Before I was born, my parents struggled to find a name they both loved. Then one day, while driving, my mom saw a billboard for Aynsley China. She fell in love with the name, but sadly, no one in my parents' families liked it. Despite looking like a little china doll when I was born, I remained nameless for a week. My parents were still in love with the name and thought it fit me perfectly, so after seven days, I became Ainsley. (Don't worry; my extended family loves my name now. And personally, I think it's pretty great, too.)

Back in July, I began redesigning my bedroom at my parents' house. While living here, I wanted to make sure I had a space that was my own. I wanted something light, bright, and fresh. My inspiration came from a watercolor print by Union Shore. From it, I drew on the colors blush and light blue, with accents of gold. Last month, I finally finished my bedroom and I am so happy with it.
