Flannel Fling Bachelorette Party

I am so excited about today's post! Two years ago, I had the honor of planing my sister's bachelorette party. We did it over the long weekend in January, which meant is was a cozy winter getaway. We picked Gatlinburg, Tennessee, as the location, where we stayed at the cutest cabin, surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. To fit the cabin-vibe, I chose a Flannel Fling theme, which ended up being so cute! For all the details, including decor, food, and activities, read below.

Our Cabin: A Smoky Mountain Dream

THE DECOR

I decked the cabin out in red, black, and flannel galore. From cute signs to banners, I had it all. I DIY'd sparkly engagement rings, as well as a chalkboard sign. I also put flowers on the table, a buffalo plaid runner, and hung rings from the chandelier. The final touch was decorating the bride's room with "BRIDE" balloons over the bed.

FOOD & DRINK

Throughout the weekend, we had different food and drink options. We had cake pops, penis jello shots, and charcuterie the first night. For breakfast, we did a yogurt bar and bagels, with cute flannel mugs for each girl. And of course, had a mimosa bar, complete with different juices and fruit. In the afternoon, we had a sangria bar, which was so fun. My favorite thing, however, were the firefighter strippers on the cake pops. (Note: my brother-in-law was in fire academy at the time.)
