We may be in a brand new year, but we can't forget to recap the last month of 2020. We had a true winter here in Chicago, which was so fun! Holiday Fun with Friends
Christmas is my favorite time of the year, which means all the holiday fun. We had a cocktail tasting with an ornament exchange and had drinks in a rooftop igloo. Chicago really is magical during the season, so we also saw lights, watched the snow fall, and enjoyed girls' nights complete with Christmas mugs.
Celebrating My Friends' Engagements
Two of my best friends got engaged in the past couple months and we got to celebrate this month. Betty was engaged back in October and this month, my bridesmaids box came in the mail. Then right before Christmas, Dana was engaged. We celebrated with champagne overlooking the city. Spring of 2022 is going to be busy!
Spending Christmas in Asheville
For the first time in years, my family decided to spend the holidays away from home. We went to Asheville, North Carolina where we tried different restaurants, visited the Biltmore, and spent many nights playing games. The best part was that it snowed Christmas Eve so we had a beautiful white Christmas (see below).
