One of the traditions that I've carried with me as an adult revolves around ornaments. Whenever we traveled as a family, we would purchase an ornament to commemorate the trip. Now, whenever I go somewhere new, I buy an ornament for my tree (check some of them out here). This love of ornaments has cascaded into other areas of my life, as well. Each year, I gift my family and friends ornaments that either represent something important in their lives or big that happened in the past year. It's one of my most-loved things to gift, as they're so personal, as well as represent core memories.
