Friendly Inspiration: Jacqueline

This week's Friendly Inspiration is a floral, mint and cream wedding. If you missed the inspiration behind this day, be sure to look at the introduction here.
Jacqueline's Friendly Inspiration:
The Colour Scheme: Shades of creams and mints will set the tone for the wedding.

The Invitations: Modern invitations featuring a simple background and beautiful calligraphy will invite the guests.

The Venue: The Resort at Pelican Hill at Newport Coast, CA

Ceremony Location: This property garden features a stunning backdrop and an Italian rotunda.

Reception Location: Inside the hotel is a beautiful reception space featuring high ceilings, cream drapery, and crystal chandeliers.

The Bride:

The Dress: This Stella York dress is both classic and modern. With its sweetheart neckline and lace beadwork, the bride will look beautiful.

The Hairstyle: To show off the neckline of the dress, the bride will wear her hair in a low, braided updo with a single-tier crystal veil.

The Accessories: To match her bridesmaids, the bride will wear mint accessories, including mint and diamond earrings, an opal bracelet, and peep-toe heels. The bride will also carry a romantic bouquet filled with soft pink, cream, and mint flowers.

The Bridesmaids: To match the neckline of the bridal gown, the bridesmaids will wear Dessy dresses in mint. This dress has unique detailing along the bodice that will match the feel of the wedding. To accessorize, the bridesmaids will wear pearl necklaces and hold smaller bouquets similar to the bride's.

The Groom & Groomsmen: The groomsmen will wear deep suits with cream shirts and mint ties. To match the bridal bouquets, the men will wear cream boutonnieres.

The Ceremony Decor: Inside the rotunda will be a large, cream, floral chandelier. Lining the aisles will be mint, soft pink, and cream flower arrangements. The last row of the chairs will be adorned with mint and gold ribbon to add elegance.

The Cocktail Hour: In-between the ceremony and reception will be a cocktail hour hosted outside. The tables will be accented with cream tablecloths swept together at the base and small mint and cream bouquets as centrepieces. Different colour-coordinating drinks will be served including pineapple mint mojitos, coconut vanilla bellinis, and pear-infused sangria.

The Escort Cards: To include the floral atmosphere that has been created, the escort cards will lead guests to their flower-named tables.

The Reception Tables: The reception tables will feature two different linen types. Half of the tables will have mint tablecloths with cream rosette runners and the other half will have cream tablecloths with mint and cream chevron runners.

The Reception Table Decor: Atop the tablecloths and runners will sit different floral centrepieces. The vases will be mercury glass, mint, gold, or cream and will hold arrangements of both solid cream and cream intermixed with soft pink flowers and greenery. The place settings will have cream plates and mint napkins and the table numbers will have a flower background and large gold writing.

The Cake: The modern cream cake will sit atop a mint cake stand and a cream rosette tablecloth.

The Favours: Each guest will receive a vial filled with different wildflower seeds to help "let love grow."

Next week, a maroon and gold church wedding.
